The Marshfield Fairgrounds host an annual fireworks extravaganza on July 4th, 2024, for a spectacular fireworks show by Ace Pyro LLC. Starting at 10 p.m., this annual event promises to be a memorable celebration of our independence. In case of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled for July 5th at the same time. The Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department will be on-site to ensure safety. Don't miss this exciting event for residents and visitors alike!

 

Medford

2. Freedom Fest, Medford City Park – July 4th

Freedom Fest in Medford City Park is a lively Fourth of July celebration filled with a variety of activities for all ages. The event features live music performances, kids' activities, a volleyball tournament, and delicious food from local vendors. One of the main highlights is the spectacular fireworks display that lights up the sky, providing a grand finale to the festivities. The event is fully supported by volunteers, donations, and local sponsors, with all proceeds going back into the event or to public use areas in the community!

 

Plover

3. Celebrate Plover, Lake Pacawa – July 26^th and 27th

Located in Plover, WI, Celebrate Plover offers two days of fun for everyone in the family! The day’s events include youth activities, live music, food and beverage, marketplace, an outdoor business expo, volleyball tournament, Fire Department Water Fights and is capped off with one of the best fireworks displays in central Wisconsin over the water. This scenic spot is ideal for those seeking a peaceful yet festive Fourth of July experience for the whole family!

 

Stevens Point

4. Riverfront Rendezvous, Pfiffner Pioneer Park – July 4^th – 6th

Riverfront Rendezvous is an annual event held at Pfiffner Pioneer Park in Stevens Point, offering a wide range of activities for the whole family. The festival features live music from popular bands, a Carp Classic Fishing Contest, a Pickleball Tournament, and a variety of kid-friendly activities. Food tents will be serving festival favorites like funnel cakes and elephant ears, along with new menu items. The event culminates in a spectacular fireworks display. Enjoy the fun from July 4th to July 6th, with plenty of entertainment and delicious food to keep everyone happy.

 

Weston Area

5. Wausau Airport – July 4th

Wausau Events and Festival Foods are hosting a 4th of July Fireworks show at the Wausau Airport! Gates on Emerson Street and Elmwood Blvd will open for the community to bring chairs, blankets, friends, and family to enjoy the fireworks starting at 9:30 PM. While there won’t be food vendors or other activities, carry-ins are allowed, and toilets and trash receptacles will be provided. Donations are welcome to help support future events. Thanks to Festival Foods and other community partners for making this event possible!

 

Wisconsin Rapids

6. Downtown Wisconsin Rapids – July 4th

On July 4th, Wisconsin Rapids will host a fireworks display launched from the Wisconsin River in downtown. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and can be viewed along the riverbank and downtown area. Choreographed to music, the event will be kicked off by Mayor Shane Blaser with the ceremonial lighting of the first shot. Food and refreshment vendors will be available on both sides of the river.

 

Tomahawk

7. Pow Wow Days – July 4th

Tomahawk, WI will be celebrating the Fourth of July with their annual Lions Club Pow Wow Days. The festivities kick off with 5K and 10K races at 8:30 a.m. and continue with a fun run at 9:00 a.m. and children's races at 10:30 a.m., all at Veteran’s Memorial Park. The Lions Chicken BBQ starts at 10:00 a.m. on Main Street, followed by food and refreshments at 11:00 a.m. The parade begins at 1:00 p.m., starting at St. Mary's and finishing on Main Street, followed by a fire department water demonstration. The day ends with a water ski show at 8:00 p.m. and fireworks at dusk at Sara Park or Kwahamot Bay.
